How the Hammers struck Gold
Apologies if already done, BBC 1 this Thursday 7pm ,Left wing BBC banging on about the cost, some MP also banging on about the cost cue Barry Hearn banging on about what he always banged on, others claiming how our owners already rich are going to make millions out of the deal, you get the picture what way this is gonna go..

Just watched and didn't actually think this was too bad. For the record I'm pro the move and think that a lot of the responsibility for this shambles relies with Seb Coe for obvious reasons.

Having said that they were clearly selective of who they interviewed and the Labour MP is a bellend. I don't see why we can't make the deal public though!

Blimey. Dan Roan has managed to get Bobby Moore knighted postumously!

What an absolutely consummate and professional reporter!

Even the Newham Recorder has balanced it better than the BBC with statements from the LLDC.

Re: How the Hammers struck Gold
Serves you fucking right for watching it.

You know there is an agenda. Any 'real' investigation would expose the real situation. The BBC are playing up to their masters the Labour left to try and embarrass the Tories.

The Daves and Miss Piggy are pretty much ignoring it - I suggest we all do the same.

Literally watching it this morning. That cunt presenter makes my blood boil. EVERYTHING he says to belittle our club.

Funny how when people mention good points are cut short and immediately back to twisting it into a negative.

FUCKING BBC CUNTS

fuming.

The taxpayer would have shelled out nothing (that said, there would definitely have been a cost to the taxpayer), but they would also have made nothing. That's the key.

Re: How the Hammers struck Gold
We've got hundreds of thousands of fucking fans - namely in Essex and across all other Home Counties...

We don't need to attract new fans... We just need to get the part-timers coming more regularly and the stay-away'ers (due to high ticket prices) back at games again...

I'm absolutely astonished that a small band of morons don't seem to have a clue how large our fan-base is... It's fucking ten times the size of fucking CHARLTON ATHLETIC for a start...

You been on the turps??

What you mean us having to pay for our own football stadium.... rather than rent a fucking concrete bowl that is not clearly fit for football??

Ok I'll carry on walking the dog...

Re: How the Hammers struck Gold
Just watching it now and one if the Charlton fans says that they're looking to get new fans, like everyone else, but they've got no chance up against what we're offering.

So we're both trying to get new fans but we're better at it than you bitter prick?

What a fucking idiot. Just bitter and jealous people pissed off that we've got a new stadium for a bargain. Not an ideal stadium, but a new stadium with a lot of potential.

Seb Coe is the one who needs to give answers but it seems that he's untouchable.

Re: How the Hammers struck Gold
yes rumford

levy's working with david lamy on new stadia after telling him to do one when trying to bag stratford. he'll collar some dough from outside THFC coffers for sure and it's embarrassing for lamy to be levys bitch after stratford didn't happen
